The Concentration of Food Insecurity in Greece
This study examines the distribution and concentration of food insecurity in Greece using household-level data from successive Household Budget Surveys between 2008 and 2024. The analysis investigates disparities across income groups, socioeconomic characteristics and regions, combining expenditure-based measures of food vulnerability with distributional and concentration indicators.
The Real Income Trap
This research develops a theoretical framework for examining the persistence of real-income losses under inflation. Using concepts from game theory and strategic interaction, the study explores how the responses of households, firms and other economic agents may generate or reinforce conditions in which nominal adjustments fail to restore purchasing power, creating a persistent real-income trap.
